Deborah Samuels Obituary

Deborah Mae Samuels, 64, of Brazil and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday September 10, 2022 in her residence surrounded by her family. Debbie was born on January 30, 1958 in St. Louis Indiana to Roy McQueen and Delores Campbell McQueen. Debbie was a 1977 graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School. Debbie was formerly a hairdresser and had worked for First Financial Bank for over twenty years and the Vigo County School Corporation for eight years. Debbie loved to hunt mushrooms, go for golf cart rides and boat rides at their home on Rocky Fork Lake. She enjoyed reading and shopping at thrift shops. She was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her father, Roy McQueen of Terre Haute. Her husband, Tim Samuels of Brazil, whom she married June 28, 1980. She is survived by a son, Brandon Samuels (Tiffany) of Rockville, IN., and a daughter, Stefanie Wilson (Nate) of Terre Haute. She is survived by a brother Bryan McQueen of Terre Haute and a sister, Tammy McQueen of Indianapolis. Grandchildren survive; Gabe Wilson, Brooklyn Ervin, Lera Samuels, Ryleigh McConnel, Alex Wilson, Noah Wilson and Vincent Wilson as well as three nephews and aunts and uncles. Services are Monday September 19, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home on Monday. Pastor Kerry Ascher will be officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers that contributions may be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley, envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
