Diantha Sue Dierdorf Boyd

Diantha Sue Dierdorf Boyd, 73, passed away on Saturday May 3, 2025. Diantha was born July 4, 1951, the daughter of Herbert Richard Dierdorf and Rosemary Cox Dierdorf. She graduated from Wiley High School in 1969. She was baptized April 19, 2013, at True Gospel Tabernacle Apostolic Church and received the Holy Ghost at Bethlehem Temple Church. Diantha loved her family. She loved people and everyone loved her. In her earlier years, she loved to work. She was a CNA at Canterbury Nursing Home for 10 years. She got married and had three daughters that she loved dearly. Later in life she was blessed with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Diantha had lots of struggles in life, but she made the most of it not ever giving up. She was a story full of fun, laughter, tears and great times. She was the kindest person anyone knew. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for you. We will always remember her for the joy we had with her in our lives. Diantha is survived by her family and friends. Daughters Rosemary Mills, Traci Sue Ellen Tanksley (Thomas) and Jacquelyn Lee Boyd. Grandchildren Sharyce Spencer, Demetrius Vinson and Ayanna Pettway; Great Grandchildren Aiden Henderson and Aubrey Spencer; brothers and sisters Kevin Lee Dierdorf (Sherry), Elizabeth Jean Cottrell, Sherry Jo Forrester, (Companion Willie Eggers) and Julia Lynn Hutchinson (Hutch); Sister at Heart Tina Reedy. Several nephews, nieces and cousins. A special aunt, Ozella Sweat and family in Alabama and Indiana. Diantha was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and stepdad Avan Joseph. Brothers Kenneth Dierdorf and Darrell Wayne Dierdorf; Nephew Kevin Lee Dierdorf Jr; Brother-in-law Glenn Cottrell; Special Aunt Joann Delong. Several Aunts, Uncles and Friends. Diantha Sue, the kindest person who ever lived, our ride or die, our legend. Always loved and always missed. Fly high our angel. Funeral service are scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 1:00p.m., in Greiner Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 12:00p.m. until service time.
