Donald Frank Bovenschulte

Donald Frank Bovenschulte “Don”, 97, of Farmersburg, Indiana, passed away December 19, 2023.  He was born on July 9, 1926, in Terre Haute, Indiana to William and Hope Bovenschulte. He was a graduate of Pimento High School and went on to graduate from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in safety management. He serviced in the United States Army Air Corps from 1944-1946. Don retired from the Indiana State Police in 1974, after 24 years of service.   He was the Information Officer in Public Relations.  Don was a member at Black Hawk Community Church.  He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Bovenschulte and his parents. He is survived by many extended family and friends. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeff Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home and from 10:00a.m. until service time on Friday.
