Donald Lynn Chapman

Donald Lynn Chapman, 65, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away February 25, 2020, in his residence. He was born January 5, 1955, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Harry Donald Chapman and Lucille Mae (Denny) Chapman. Donald was a simple man. He was known for being frugal. He was a loving father, grandfather, neighbor and friend. He loved his grandchildren and he played a big role in there lives. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and being outdoors, but most of all being in the company of his family and friends. He was close with his cousins, aunts and uncles especially Jeffery Denny who was like a brother to him. He also loved talking/watching history and movies, especially with his grandson, Bryce. He enjoyed watching his granddaughters cheer and tumble. He was very proud of all 15 of his grandchildren. He still maintained a good friendship with his ex wife, Marlene Boatman. Donald is survived by his children Trena Chapman and fiancé Bryce Rupska, Michelle Brenton, Donald Brenton, and Harry Brenton; grandchildren Elicia Wagle and husband Zachary, Mackenzie Higginbotham, and Bryce Rupska II; great grandchildren Zachary Wagle II and Kaizer Wagle; siblings Deborah Arthur and husband Donnie, Sandra Chapman and Teresa Chapman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Chapman. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Visitation will be at 2:00p.m. until service time Funeral services are scheduled at 3:00p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home. His burial will be at Highland Lawn Cemetary at a later date.
