Donald Lee Hamilton was born August 1, 1959. Donald grew up in Terre Haute Indiana and attended Terre Haute South Vigo high school. Throughout his younger years, he held various jobs and worked hard. Donald was the sixth of nine children born to Wilbur and Dorothy Hamilton. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Barbie; his son, Justin Hamilton; his parents and siblings, Diane Lindsay, Paul Hamilton, Steve Hamilton, Mike Hamilton and Dennis Hamilton. He is survived by his daughter Rachel Hamilton; his stepchildren; grandchildren; his brother Jake Hamilton and his sisters Debbie Hamilton and Kathy Hamilton. Donald was a simple, kind man who never asked much of anyone and appreciated everything that came his way. His quiet strength, gentle heart, and gratitude for life will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Cremation has been chosen per his wishes. Life is short and none of us know how much time we’re given. So be sure to love deeply, to be kind to those around you and cherish every moment with the people who cross your path. Family, friends, or strangers alike. In the end, it’s not the things we have, but those small acts of love and kindness that live on in the hearts of others.
