Doris Pauline (Head) Smith

AVON - Doris Pauline Smith, 94, passed away July 19, 2021 in Hendricks Regional Hospital in Dan- ville, Indiana. She was born June 30, 1927 in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Olan Head and Luella Byers Head.
She and her husband owned and operated A Ring Brings Pizza in Twelve Points. She was a member of the Maplewood Christian Church. She was a past member of the Clinton Moose Lodge.
She loved to work jigsaw puzzles, and word searches. She loved to watch soap operas on T.V.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Milton Smith (d. 1994); 2 brothers; and a sister.
She is survived by her son, Dan Grigsby (Robbin); a sister, Pat Drake; her grandchildren, Jennifer Williams (Phil) and Sara Taylor (Josh); great-grandchildren, Nathan, Aaron, Ian, Gage, and Holly; great-great-grandchildren, Liam, Adalyn, and Ayden; friends from church, Helen Wardle, and Sallie Cox; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Doris will be Monday, July 26, 2021 at 1 pm in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be 11 am to service time at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at:
