Dorothy Lee Hamilton

On a Sunny November 7 , 1929 day, The world welcomed Dorothy Lee Hamilton in Terre Haute In, This vibrant spirit, who graced our lives for 95 years, passed away peacefully on June, 28 2025 Dorothy a devoted mother leaves a legacy that will be cherished. Dorothy’s journey through life was nothing short of remarkable. With a heart vast as her family she dedicated herself to raise her nine children. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Blanch Ellinger, Husband Wilbur “Paul” Sr, Children Diane Lindsay,  Wilbur “Paul” Jr Steve, Robert”Mike” and Dennis Hamilton, Grand Children Davy Caton, Stephanie Schultz and Justin Hamilton , Great Great Children Eleanor Rose and Quentin Winskey . And Eleven Siblings. Dorothy is survived by her Daughters  Debbie  (David) Caton, Kathy Hamilton Sons Donnie  and Rick “Jake” Hamilton (Pam) . Several grandchildren and great  grandchildren and Sister Wilma -sissy Lawrence. The family would like the thank the following agencies for their care provided to Dorothy, Help at Home and Gentiva Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Arc of the Wabash Valley 11 Cherry St, Terre Haute In, 47807. In honoring Dorothy's wishes, cremation has been chosen.  Graveside services will be on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 2:00p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park, in section D.
