Douglas Matthew Coulter

Douglas Matthew Coulter, 62, passed from this life on November 24, 2024. Douglas was born on September 28, 1962 to Keith Douglas Coulter and Evelyn Louise Lamb Yettaw, who have preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Lawrence Yettaw,  sisters, Carol Elaine Coulter, Cynthia Waneta Sprague and Kathy Hughes, an aunt, Eleanor (Lamb) Wheeler; an uncle, William Lamb; and a brother-in-law, Gregory Stephens.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Cattina Coulter, whom he married on September 8, 2007. He is also survived by sisters, Sueanne Stephens, Carol Seward (David), and a brother, Jack Estes (Becky); and cousins William Lamb, Genevieve Howard, Julie Schroeder and Tina Johnson and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Douglas had a variety of hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and taking road trips. He particularly loved going up north to the family cottage in Michigan and spending time with loved ones. Douglas was a devoted fan of several Michigan sports teams – most especially, the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. In addition to those, he and Cattina made several trips every summer to Victory Field in Indianapolis to watch and cheer on the Indianapolis Indians. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring, details to follow at a later date.
