E. Marguerite Miesel

E. Marguerite Miesel, 74, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on January 30, 2025.  She was born in Evansville, Indiana, on December 18, 1950, to John L. Miesel and Evelyn Frances (Hanes) Miesel.  Marguerite was a graduate of Honey Creek High School and Indiana State University.  She managed the deli at Great Scot and County Market grocery stores then retired from TRW in Production.  Marguerite played on the State Champion and Indiana Hall of Fame Chefettes softball team.  She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed her family and gardening and was absolutely passionate about fishing and her dog, Emmy.  Marguerite is survived by her brother John L. Miesel Jr and his wife Debbie; nieces and nephews Corey Miesel, Jarred Miesel, Bob Mills, and Leslie Mills; also, many other extended family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Dr. Harry F. Mills.  

In honoring her wishes, cremation has been chosen.  The burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  The family invites you to +share your remembrances on this website.
