Elijah Blue Oglesby

Elijah Blue Oglesby, 41, passed away on August 31, 2025 in Terre Haute, IN
He was born September 1, 1983 in Terre Haute, IN.  He graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School.  During High School he was an exchange student with Tajimi Japan.  He attended Indiana University until deployed with the Indiana National Guard during operation Iraqi Freedom.  We was an E3 Private First Class.  After being honorably discharged he was employed in the union construction trade.  He was proceeded in death by his grandmother Thelma Hayne, his grandfather Perry Worley, his uncle Mark Oglesby, his aunt  Penny Suzanne Nulf, his aunt Michele Renee Morgan and his aunt Lorie New (Hayne).

He is survived by his mother Bobbie Pearce (Hayne), his father Stephen Oglesby, his brother Zachary Leek, his children Elijah Blue Oglesby Jr., Ava Oglesby, Kealeigh Eldridge & Layla Euraite, his grandmother Rosemary Worley, his grandfather and grandmother Bill & Jan Oglesby, grandfather Larry Hayne, uncle Bryan Worley and many cousins.

A visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Greiner Funeral Home with the service at 1:00 pm, on Monday September 15, 2025, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating. A military presentation will follow the service as well as a luncheon at the Rosedale American Legion.
