Elvin "Bart" L Meadows

Elvin “Bart” L. Meadows, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away June 14th 2018 I Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. Bart was born August 23, 1945 in Glasgow, KY., to William Meadows and Martha Garvin Meadows. Bart worked in Heavy Equipment Sales. He was a sports enthusiast, especially enjoying football and basketball. He enjoyed horse racing and had attended the Kentucky Derby. He loved animals especially dogs who were naturally drawn to him. He enjoyed dove hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Roxanne Meadows who passed away August 26, 1991. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hendricks Meadows whom he married April 10, 1980. He is survived by one son, Matthew Meadows of Terre Haute, one sister Kaye Lindsey of Hardyville, KY. He is survived a nephew Phillip Lindsey and a niece Laura Burd and five great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 29th 2018 at 4:00 p.m. with a gathering of family and friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
