Eric Lester Cress

Eric “Pappy” Lester Cress, 83, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday April 27, 2024. Eric was born April 8, 2024 in Pimento to Lester Cress and Eveline Houlston Cress. He was a graduate of Pimento High School and was passionate about God. He loved woodworking and especially enjoyed making duck figures and gifts for his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Darin L. Cress. He is survived by a daughter, Keri Graham (Michael), a son, Dewayne Cress, two brothers; Bill Cress (Judy) and Rock Cress (Sondra) and his former wife and mother of his children, Sharon Jordan (David). He is also survived by four grandchildren. A nephew, Kevin Cress and other nieces and nephews. Services are Thursday May 2, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
