Ernestine Bunzell

Ernestine Irene Bunzell, 90, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on July 27, 2025.  She was born on January 27, 1935, in Marshall, Illinois, to Alva Breneman and Ann Marie (Ketner) Breneman.  She worked as an admitting clerk at Union Hospital for 20 years. Ernestine was a loving mother, who put everyone first.  She was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Ernestine was a devoted wife to her late husband, especially during his years battling Alzheimer’s. Of course, she was a devoted mother to her son Mike.  She is preceded in death by her husband Ernest Bunzell; her parents; and all of her siblings.  She is survived by her son Michael Bunzell “Mike” and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 3:00p.m. until 7:oop.m. and also on Tuesday, from 12:00a.m. until service time.
