Ernestine Irene Loudermilk, 95, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Southwood Health Care Center in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born in the community of Greenville, Sullivan County, Indiana to Fred and Anna Elizabeth (Tomey) Pearison on May 31, 1930. She was a 1948 graduate of Sullivan High School where she met and later married her husband Jack Loudermilk, who was the father of their four children. They were married 25 years. She was a Christian and baptized at Sullivan First Baptist Church where she was a member until her death. Her Christian faith was a top priority to her, along with passing that faith to her children and grandchildren. Irene owned and operated the Sullivan Motel from 1974 until she was 91 years young. In 1994, Quality Home Realtors, honored her as one of four lady entrepreneurs during the Sullivan Business and Professional Women’s Club May awards. She was a spirited and independent lady who loved to talk and sing. Proceeding her in death were her parents, her brother Fred Pearison, sister, Barbara Keegan, granddaughter Jessica Lynn Loudermilk, and two great granddaughters Cheyenne and Riley Adams. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Cynthia Adams (Stan) of Arizona and Cathy Jolliff (Steve) of Terre Haute, Jacqueline Myers (Jim) of Sullivan and son Jay Loudermilk (Connie) of Sullivan. She has 10 surviving grandchildren Stacy J. Adams of Arizona, Shane Adams of Arizona, Brandy Scott (Jolliff) of Illinois, Lacey Coleman (Jolliff) of Terre Haute, Andrew Jolliff of Terre Haute, Jayson Loudermilk of Sullivan, Eric Stanley of Oklahoma, Brannon Stanley of Oklahoma, and Amanda Myers of Nova Scotia, and Josh Myers from Nova Scotia. She also had 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Irene‘s memory will be cherished and she will be sorely missed by her family. Private family graveside services were at Highland Lawn Cemetery with the Reverend Ben Wetherington officiating
