Etta Sue Hoopingarner, 72, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away November 21, 2021. She was born January 24, 1949, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to James Denny and Gertrude (Halderman) Denny. Etta is survived by her husband of 53 years Jerry L. Hoopingarner; children Jerry Hoopingarner Jr. "Paco" (Tammy), Angela Doan (Chris Hook), and Brent Hoopingarner (Charity); grandchildren Brett, Shelby (Elliott), Madison ( Jarred) , Brayton, Ryne (Holly), Dawson, Caden, and Quintin; great grandson Noah; siblings Darla, Denise, Denna, and Arlouine; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Patty, Lucille, James, Harley, Cindy, Phyllis, and Jeff. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Dennis Leek will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.
