Eugene "Gene" Neice Obituary

Eugene “Gene” Neice, 89, of Terre Haute, passed away Monday April 5, 2021 in Indiana University West. Gene was born in Terre Haute on May 10, 1931 to Isaac Neice and Edna Hayne Neice. He was a retired truck driver as well as a member of Zorah Shrine and Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the US Army and member of Veterans of Foreign War #972 and American Legion Post 104 as well as the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Connie Gibbons and his wife, Nellie Catterson Neice who passed away January of 2001. He is survived by a daughter, Lori Burchfield and her husband Timothy of Arizona and a son, Joe Beal of Florida. He is survived by seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services are Saturday April 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the Funeral Home. Veterans of Foreign War Post #972 will conduct military graveside services.
