Forest "Fuzz" Waller Obituary

Forest Larry Waller, 77, of West Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on March 20, 2025.  He was born on November 11, 1947, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Kenneth Leo Waller and Donna Jean (Brown) Waller.  Forest was a proud United States Army Vietnam Veteran.  He served from 1967 – 1968.  Forest, also known as “Fuzz” was known to live life his own way.  Although he was known to be an outlaw, he always treated others equally and with respect.  He loved his family.  Forest owned and operated Western Star Tavern in Toadhop, he later worked for the city of West Terre Haute, as a Fireman and as a Police Dispatcher.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon Ann (Bragg) Waller; son John Derrick Waller; grandchildren Cody Alan Waller, Jacob Derrick Waller, and Sarah Jean Waller; siblings Sharon Rose Burkley and Sarah Darlene Evitts; and many other extended family members including nieces, nephews, and cousins. Forest was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Kenneth Leo Waller Jr., Beverly Harris, and Tillie (Sumers) McGuiness.  Family and friends are invited to Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, on Saturday March 22, 2025, from 4:00p.m. until 6:00p.m., to celebrate Forest “Fuzz”, and life he lived, doing it his way.
