Franklin J Parks Jr.

Franklin J. Parks Jr., 96, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away December 23, 2023.  He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on December 6, 1927, to Franklin J. Parks Sr. and Effie Mae (Stewart) Parks.  Franklin served his country proudly in the United States Army. He holds membership with the American Legion Post 340.  Franklin worked at the United States Post Office and at Macys.  He is survived by his children Ronald Parks, Jeff Parks, and Darlene Wills; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and siblings Geneva Parks and Barbara Milton.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Agnes Parks, children Jerry Parks and Donna Young, and siblings Margaret, Florence and Edna.  Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 12:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home. A burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. until service time on Saturday.
