Fred Andrew Price

Fred A. Price, born on February 8, 1972, in Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on December 28, 2024, in his hometown at the age of 52.

Fred was the beloved son of Helen R. (Kirkman) Price (Johnson) and the late Bobby Joe Price. He is also survived by his stepfather, Ronald Johnson. A devoted father, Fred cherished his daughter, Hope (Kinser) Hair. He shared a close bond with his siblings: Anna (Daniel) Sackett, Edith (Jeff) Bolen, Christina (Michael) Ross, Robert (Angela) Price, and Kasia Price. Fred was also a proud uncle to several nieces and nephews who brought him great joy.

Fred’s life was defined by his many passions and interests. He was an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia, a testament to his appreciation for nostalgia and history. A dedicated sports fan, he rooted enthusiastically for Indiana University as well as the Indianapolis Colts and Pacers. His love for Ford Mustangs reflected his admiration for classic cars and their timeless appeal. These hobbies brought him happiness and allowed him to connect with others who shared his enthusiasm.

Known for his fiery attitude and witty humor, Fred had a personality that left a lasting impression on those who knew him. His sense of humor and vibrant spirit will be remembered fondly by family and friends alike.

Fred’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May his legacy bring comfort and strength to his family and friends during this time of loss.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Oakhill Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.
