Gary Darnell Goins

Gary Darnell Goins, 55, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away, September 22, 2021.  He was born December 23, 1965, in Paris, Illinois, to John David Goins and Helen (Shepard) Goins.  Gary worked at Great Dane as an Assistant Supervisor.  He served in the United States Army for 23 years, serving 2 tours in Iraq.  He holds membership with VFW #972.  Gary was an avid Chicago Bears Fan, NASCAR, and also Sprint Cars fan.  He enjoyed fixing cars, and was known as a Mr. Fix it.  He is survived by his wife Tuyet (Robenski) Goins; his children Michael Goins and Paris Goins; siblings Karren Goins and Shawna Goins-Benford; beloved uncle and aunt Robert and Amy Goins; nieces and nephews Harold (Trey) Haggerty, Alysia Haggerty, John Haggerty, Sydney Goins, Jade Goins, Sean Benford,Malik Benford and Narissa Benford in place of several other family members.   He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandmother Mary Madison.  Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 10:00a.m. until 12:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  A private burial will follow in Edgar County Cemetery, in Paris, Illinois.
