Gayla Lou Crum

Gayla Lou Jones Crum went home to be with her Lord and savior on July 16, 2025. 
Gayla was a life long resident of Terre Haute Indiana born on June 8, 1940. 
 She was active in community theater and  helping out at Crum Shell gas station. She was a long time member of The First church of the Nazarene. She loved spending time with her children and many grandchildren. Gayla was always ready for a card game or puzzle with friends.  She was an avid traveler, she enjoyed going on cruises and beach vacations, and she loved the times she got to go to Hawaii.  
Gayla was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Robert Crum. Siblings: Arthur Jones, Leon Duby, Irene Stowe, Mary Bickel, Dorothy Price, Marjory Prestley, Merle Ellinger. 
Gayla is survived by her loving family, son Jeff Crum/Julie, daughter Charlene Wilson/Derle and grandchildren Destiny/Clint, Bobby, Bradley, Brittney, and Olivia. Great grandchildren children Ava, Ashton, Axel, Paisley, Robbie and Francis. 
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff and residents at Silver Birtch assisted living for making her golden years happy and loved. 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 22, 2025 from 11 -1 at Griener funeral home in Terre Haute with service immediately following. 
Grave side service will be at Roselawn.
