George N Nasser II

George N. Nasser II, 69, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. George was born to the late George (Highpockets) N. Nasser and Anna Marie Nasser in Terre Haute, Indiana.  He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Carol and three children: Theresa (Mike), George III (CJ), and Karrum (April). George and Carol were blessed with 10 grandchildren: Chelsie (Matt), Taylor (Jordan), Caroline (Heath), Adriana, Josh, Claire (Nathan), Aubree, Grant, Austin, Emily and three great-grandchildren Jack, Gracie, Lilly as well as two brothers: Abe (Carole) and Art (Cathy) and one beloved sister, Peggy. He also loved his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  George is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved sisters Esther, Paula, and Hermena.  George’s life was dedicated to loving his family. He was a loyal son, brother, nephew, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and cousin and embodied what it means to love unconditionally and to always extend a helping hand.  “Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me” Matthew 25:40. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at St. Joseph University Parish. 113 S. Fifth Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807. Friar Savio Manavalan will be officiating. Committal services will be held at Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, envelopes will be available at the church.
