George Wayne Stewart

George Wayne Stewart, 65, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away September 23, 2020.  He was born August 4, 1955, in Mattoon, Illinois to Ivan Stewart and Mary (Sydenstricker) Stewart.  He retired from Central Standard Service Station, after 15 years, as a mechanic and manager.  He is survived by his wife Judy (Beasley) Stewart, whom he married in 1973; sons Mike (Tammy) Stewart, David (Susann) Stewart, John (Cary) Stewart; brother John Stewart; sisters Kathy Stewart and Sara Croy; grandchildren Sierra (Josh), Michael, Austin, Lea, Hannah, Courtney, and Jonathan; great grandchild Jude; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his son James Stewart; brother Terry; a sisters Becky, Linda, and Mary Lou.  Visitation will be Monday, September 28, 2020, at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, from 1:00p.m. until 3:00p.m.  In honoring George’s wishes, cremation will follow visitation.
