Gloria Jean Mount

Gloria Jean Mount, 73, of Pimento, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, at Saint Vincent Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on February 28th, 1951, in Terre Haute. She was a graduate of Honey Creek High School in 1969.  She was a dedicated and loving daughter, wife, mother, mamaw, and friend.  She was well known for her primitives along with baking and her divinity at the covered bridge and other events. Gloria loved for you to pull up a chair around the kitchen table and catch up on what's going on.  She retired from the Pimento Post Office and served as the Linton Township Trustee.  She was predeceased by her parents Donald E & Lucille Mae Nesbit, daughter Stephanie Mount Dillion, sister LaDonna Johnson, and brother Larry Nesbit.  She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 55 years, Stephen W Mount of Pimento; her daughter Gidget Daugherty, and husband Jeff of Terre Haute, grandchildren, Lanee Dillion, Hollyn Daugherty, Kyson Daugherty, and Kennidy Dillion, her brother Jerry Nesbit, her sister Coral Marhoum, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 2:00 to 400 PM with a memorial to follow at the Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street.
