Grant “Doug” Bolen, 75, of Seelyville passed away October 20, 2018 in his residence. Doug was born in Mishawaka on November 24, 1942 to Grant Bolen and Dorothy Ives Bolen. He was a Veteran of the US Army, a member of American Legion Post 104 and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed building race cars and enjoyed antique cars, motorcycles and tractors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travel and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He was the former owner of Terre Haute Transmission, Academy of Automatics, Come and Get it Catering and Graffiti’s. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ned Fisher and a Sister Prudy Soderberg-Peoples. He is survived by his wife, Nyala Peterman Bolen, two sons; Grant Bolen and his wife Jennifer of Terre Haute and Max Bolen and his wife Robin of Bambridge. IN. He is survived by one daughter, Sheri Biediger and her husband Charlie of San Antonio and a brother, Jeff Bolen and his wife Edie of Terre Haute. He is survived by ten grandchildren; Mary, Erin and William Biediger and Grant, Drew, Dane, Kyle, Madelyn Sydney and Jacob Bolen as well as several nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN., 47804. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Rev. Ken Bovenshen will be officiating, burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. American Legion Post 104 will conduct Military Graveside Services.
