Harold "Biff" G Schofield

Harold “Biff” Schofield Jr., of Sullivan and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday October 1, 2020 in Union Hospital. Biff was born March 8, 1952 in Ravenna, OH., to Harold Glen Schofield Sr. and Marylou Delong Schofield (Cartwright). He worked for Vigo County Community Corrections and was retired from the Vigo County Jail. He was a member of Shelburn Baptist Church. He was an avid pool player, a member of APC, Shelburn Old Fashioned Days and an avid hat collector. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Joseph Schofield and a sister, Mary Knott. He is survived by his wife, Joy Hancock Schofield of Sullivan, a son, John Joseph Schofield, two step sons; Dale Mahurin (Julie) of Terre Haute and Jerry Mahurin (Delta) of Sullivan. Two step daughters; Terri Mahurin of Pimento and Mary Mahurn-Miller (Gene) of Sullivan. Two brothers; Christopher Schofield (Elaine) of Ohio and Mark Schofield (Carole) of Maryland. Two sisters; Jeannie Garro of Arizona and Sally Watson (John) of Florida. He is survived by a sister in-law Patty Schofield of Ohio and a brother in-law Keith Knott of Florida, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and Buddy the donkey. Services are Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
