Harold “Lee” Wright Sr., 89, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday April 22, 2021 in Union Hospital. Harold was born on August 28, 1931 in Terre Haute to Rev. Paul Wright and Ruby Birt Wright. He was a retired Truck Driver having worked for Wonder Bread and Hulman Company during his career. He and his wife were members of Rio Grande Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the US Marines serving as Corporal and was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 104 and Veterans of Foreign War Post #972. He enjoyed traveling, golf and was an avid NASCAR fan and a big fan of Tony Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gene Wright, a great grandson, Clayton Wright and a step daughter, Brenda Felling. He is survived by his wife, Mary Wright and children; Roger (Mary) Wright of Madison, WI., Richard Wright of AK., Harold L. Wright Jr., of FL., Paula Brockman of Terre Haute and Linda Wright (Tim) also of Terre Haute. He is survived by two step-daughters; Cathy Greenwell (Mark) of Terre Haute and Mary Ellen Elliott of Brazil, IN. He is survived by two sisters; Carol Smith and Rebecca Morge both of Terre Haute. He is survived by two brothers; Donald Wright (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, Fl., and Larry D. Wright (Sharon) of Terre Haute. He is survived by 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Funeral Home. Rev. Ansil Harpole and Dr. Dan Willis will be officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
