Helen Jane (Holmes) Fields

Helen Jane Fields, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday June 7, 2024 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. Helen was born May 3, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN. to Ernest Holmes and Esther Holmes. She retired from SonyDADC in Terre Haute, but enjoyed her role at wife, mother and homemaker the most. She loved nature and being outdoors especially bird and squirrel watching and working crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed watching western movies and going out on Friday nights to eat fish. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip W. Fields who died December 13, 2013, she was also preceded by children; Brenda K. Fields, Donald R. Fields and Robert E. Fields. She is survived by one son, Billy Fields (Linda Lintz) of Florida, four daughters survive; Lorry A. Worgull (Frank) of Clarksville, IN., Kathy L. Lawson (Kevin) of Tampa, Fl., Cheryl A. Todd of Brazil, IN., and Kelly M. Fields of Brazil, IN. She is survived by her grandchildren: MacKenzie A. Hegedusich, Jay Fields, Kenny Fields, Lynsey Riker, Michelle Pine, James Fields, Travis Durbin, Elizebeth Durbin, Chelsea Wilson, Amber Curtis, Taylor Fields, William Fields, Alexis Blevins, Lewis Berry, Zachary Lintz and several great great grandchildren. She is survived by one nephew, Mark Hollingsworth of Carmel, IN. Services are Friday June 14, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th St. Terre Haute, IN. 47804.
