Helen Hargis Artz Coy

Helen H. Coy, 97, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on December 30, 2024.  She was born on December 6, 1927, to Ward C. Hargis and Zona (Fish) Hargis. She attended Maryland Community Church and held membership with Eastern Star.  She received her Masters Degree and taught for many years.  She went on and was the owner of WC Hargis and Son.  Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Warren Artz and R. Wayne Coy; siblings Ralph Hargis and Thelma Hargis.  She is survived by her children Warren Artz (Kim) and Elaine Artz; grandchildren Bobby Joe Cooper, Brandon Scott Artz (Brittney); great grandchildren Chloe, Paityn, Prestyn, and Anthony; great great grandson Conner.  Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Pastor Larry Spear will officiate.  Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.
