Holly M. Mullenix

Holly M. Mullenix, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2025 at
Union Hospital. Holly was born in Terre Haute on March 31, 1981 to Mark Roy and Bonita
Waelbroeck. Holly was the Director of Youth Programs with Chances and Services for Youth in
Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a dedicated director who would do anything to help the children
in her care. She was always available when a child needed a hug, help with homework, or just
to have a few tears wiped away. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and
friends, bowling, and getting cozy on the couch while watching TV. Her passing leaves an
enormous void in the hearts of so many of the lives she touched throughout the years. Holly
leaves behind a loving husband and best friend, Shane Mullenix, a son, Evan, and a daughter,
Emmalyn. She is also survived by her mother, Bonita (Robert) Waelbroeck, and father, Mark
(Diane) Roy. In addition, she is survived by 3 stepbrothers - Chad (Kelly) Williamson, Alan
(Cheryl) Waelbroeck, and Neil (Jennifer) Waelbroeck; sister-in-law Brandy Asher (Rob);
brothers-in-law, Alex Mullinix and Evan Mullenix; and father-in-law Tim (Jennifer) Mullenix.
Services will be held Tuesday, February 4, at Cross Lane Community Church, 2204 Lafayette
Ave, Terre Haute. Visitation will be from 1:00pm-3:00pm and service immediately following.
Pastor Brett Wilson will officiate. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to please donate to a
Go Fund Me account listed under Holly’s name.
