Howard E Cooper

Howard E. Cooper, 73, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on April 11, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.  He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on April 29, 1951, to Claude Cooper and Leona (Gresham) Cooper.  Howard drove a Semi Truck.  Over the years, he took his son with him on trips, opening up a love of his own to be on the road himself.  He worked at Hickman Funeral Home, and also was on the Ambulance Service.  Howard was a hard worker and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is service by his children Brian Cooper and Lisa Cooper; 4 grandchildren; sisters Carolyn McKee and Barbara Cooper.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son Gene Cooper; and brother Robert "Bob" Cooper.  In honoring Howard's wishes, cremation has been chosen.  A private burial at Highland Lawn Cemetery will take place at a later time.
