Howard Wayne Hooker Jr.

Howard Wayne Hooker Jr, 61, of Terre Haute, passed away on December 28, 2021. He was born September 5, 1960, in Terre Haute Indiana to Howard Wayne Hooker Sr. and Dorothy Mae Morgan Pasco. He was a member of the Terre Haute Foursquare Gospel Church, and also was a guard for the church. He helped work the food pantry and anything the church needed. He also enjoyed fishing, watching TV especially John Wayne, and Gunsmoke, he loved his grandchildren with all of his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Larry Schachle, brother, Stevie Hooker, and sister, Carol Franklin.

He is survived by his wife Penny, they had spent 51 years together, sons Howard Wayne Hooker III (Melissa), and Jeremy Sharp (Tonya), brothers, Jack Pasco and Tivis Pasco, sisters, Melissa Morgan, and Linda Sanders, along with 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services will be on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 1 pm in Greiner funeral home, 2005 N. 13th St., Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation will be from noon until 1 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday. Online condolences can be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
