Jack Charles Riggs

Jack Charles Riggs 91 passed away in his residence on June 27, 2020. He was born March 15, 1929 to John Thomas and Rhoda Archer Riggs

Preceded in death by his parents; His wife,  Barbara Joan  (Brenton) Riggs,

Four Sons; Jack Alan Riggs, Donnie Brenton, David Brenton, and Ernie Brenton, brothers; John Thomas Riggs (Florence), Edgar Glenn Riggs, Luther Riggs (Jean), Leroy Riggs (Helen), and George Riggs (Sylvia), sisters; Mildred Johnson (James), Nelda Riggs (Virgil), Ruby White (Raymond), and Nina Davis (Clarence)

And his first wife, Carolyn Rosser Riggs.  He was survived by one son; Gary Riggs and two daughters; Jackie Price and Patty (Mike) Cooper, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He served as a soldier In the US Army, followed by many years farming, while also being employed by, and retiring from. Alcan Aluminum, where he was a Fork Lift Operator and Shop Steward for the Union.  Prior to that he was employed by Hulman & Company and United Gas Station. 

He loved his family, had many friends, and enjoyed spending time with them.  He had a great sense of humor, quick wit, and was a joy to be around . He was loved and will be very sadly missed by many.
