Jack Lee Wittenmyer Jr., 55, of Terre Haute passed away September 12, 2021 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Union Hospital. Jack was born July 23, 1966 in Bitburg, Germany on a military base to Jack Lee Wittenmyer Sr. and Maxine Louise Ellinger Wilson. Jack worked for the City of Terre Haute as a heavy equipment operator. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outside. He also loved to spend time with family, especially his trusty canine companion, Charlie.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters; Kim, Regina, and Heidi.
He is survived by his significant other of 28 years, Penny Wittenmyer, son, Brandon Collins of Kentucky, daughters; Nicole Boles of Indianapolis, and Chelsea Wittenmyer of Columbus, IN, sister, Jeanette Brune (Russ), step brother, Randy Johnson of North Carolina, brother and sister in law, Debbie and Steve Gillespie, and grandson, Landon Basham, along with his dog, Charlie.
