James Michael "Mack" McKenzie

James Michael “Mack” McKenzie, 68, of Terre Haute, passed away March 20, 2018 in Union Hospital. He was born September 2, 1949 to Charles Joseph McKenzie and Lucille Shaw McKenzie in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Mack, as he was known, was the type that never met a stranger.  Everybody liked Mack, and to know him was to love him.  Mack was a very skilled craftsman, and especially was talented at wood working.  He would help others with his skills, even when his health declined.  He was a hard worker and could be found tinkering in his garage. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, John Marvin McKenzie.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen McKenzie, whom he shared 49 years of marriage.  Also, surviving are sisters; Roberta McKenzie, Mary Jo McKenzie, and Cindy Gallion and her husband John, nephews; Dave McKenzie, Chadwick McKenzie, Solomon Reliford, and Joseph Gallion, nieces; Ayanna Salmeri, Heather Nichols, and Pam McKenzie, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
