Janice I Dunfee

Janice I. Dunfee, resident of Terre Haute, IN, passed away unexpectedly on May 8. 2023, at the age of 66 in her home.

Janice is survived by her children Jamie Kingery (Josh Kingery) and Michael Dunfee, Jr; grandchildren Riley, Emily, Aiden, and Jacson, and sisters Jeannine Burton (Jim), Jeorjia Toliver (Arkie); nieces and nephews Kimberly Reece, Sean Brown (Jamie), Chris Toliver (Erica), April Patterson (Chris); great nieces and nephews, Austin, Kristin, and Hailee, and family. She is preceded in death by her father, Chester Gardner, Mother Bessie Gardner, and nephew Michael Voyles. 

Janice was born on April 03, 1957, to Chester and Bessie Gardner in Florence, Illinois.  She is a graduate of Flora High School, working as a homemaker and retired as a library assistant for the Vigo County School Corporation.   

Janice was a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished attending any function that included her grandchildren and loved to watch them grow.  Janice enjoyed watching NASCAR races, football, wrestling, and caring for her favorite companion, Isabell, her beloved pet Labrador Retriever.  Her presence will be deeply missed at family gatherings, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.  May her memory live on forever.

The family is respecting her final wish to not hold funeral arrangements; however, a Celebration of Life will be held with her close friends and family.
