Janice Moody Obituary

Janice Lou Moody, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away February 16, 2021 in Union Hospital. She was born January 25,1949 in Terre Haute, to Herman Lewis and Sarah Jane Voigt. She worked and retired from Columbia House as a clerk for 35 years. Janice had a strong Christian faith, she loved bowling and in her younger years bowled in several leagues. Jan also enjoyed watching wrestling, nascar as well as working on puzzles. She graduated from State High School in Terre Haute, in 1967. She loved to travel but Indiana was always her home. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by husband Jerry Moody Sr., brother Steve Voigt, her son, John Lewis Reedy, Dean Moody, and Dan Moody, daughters, Jennifer Moody, and Jolene Moody, grandchildren, Jakob Reedy, Helen Moody, and Eric Moody, and her beloved dog, Lucky. Cremation was chosen, with a celebration of life planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cancer Society.
