Jeanne Pinson Knott

Jeanne Pinson Knott, 73, passed away on April 27, 2023, at Silver Birch Assisted Living
Community in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Jeanne was born on December 28, 1949, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Marge and Robert Pinson.
Jeanne was a lifelong resident of Terre Haute, where she attended Garfield High School. It was
there that she met Ralph, the love of her life, whom she would marry and have three children
with: Rob, Tim, and Jay. Jeanne spent the majority of her career as a bookkeeper in the family
business started by her father in 1946..
Jeanne had a deep love for her family and spent many summer days watching baseball games
and band competitions. Later she and Ralph spent time buying and selling antiques and going
to auctions. But there was one thing Jeanne loved as much as her family, and that was her
dogs. Jeanne's love for dogs was deep and powerful, from treats to toys, to sweaters and just
raw love, she loved dogs.
Jeanne is survived by her three sons, Rob, Tim (Roxanne), and Jay (Stefanie), her four
grandchildren, Devan, Ethan, Kamryn, and Carly, and her niece, Kriistine Purdy. She was
preceded in death by her mother, Marge Remp, her father, Robert Pinson, her brother, Robert
Pinson, her sister, Judy Purdy, and her beloved husband, Ralph Knott.
Jeanne will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her legacy of love, strength, and
determination will live on forever.
Services will be held at Greiner Funeral Home on Friday May 5th from 1pm to 3pm with services
and graveside to follow.
