Jennifer Butler

Jennifer Lynn (Archer) Butler of Terre Haute, IN passed away on May 26, 2021, in her residence surrounded by loved ones.  Jenny was born on August 31, 1956 in Terre Haute, IN to Nancy (Starkey) Archer and Gerald Archer.  She was a graduate of Terre Haute South High School and lived, worked and raised her family in Terre Haute until her death. 

She is survived by her mother, a daughter, Lalena Butler, and grandson, Tanner Johnson of Terre Haute.   One of six siblings, she is also survived by sisters Kathy (Archer) Priest of Virginia Beach, Linda (Archer) Apple and Kelly (Archer) VonTress of Greencastle, Michele (Archer) Madole and Angela (Archer) Yenchek of Las Vegas. 

Jenny was a lover of animals, her horses in particular, many felines and canines over the years, laughter and the beach.  She was a devoted sister, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend.  She worked for Terre Haute Savings Bank since 1989. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 12:00 to 4:00pm at The Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #157 Union Hall, 8801 East Milner Dr., Terre Haute, IN.

The family requests In lieu of flowers that donations be made to Peacefield Equine Sanctuary or PALS (People and Animals Learning Services, Inc)
