Jimmie Joe Cheesman

Jimmie “Jim” Joe Cheesman Sr., 68, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by family on September 24, 2021 at 4:22p.m.  Jim was born on January 28, 1953 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Virginia Ruth Gordon Cheesman and Russell Cheesman Sr. Jimmie enjoyed having a drink, listening to country music, being with his family, muscle cars, and racing.  He is survived by his children Jimmie Joe Cheesman Jr. (Patsy), Anthony Wayne Cheesman (Jackie), April Dawn Booker (Doug), Jack Scott Cheesman (Rhiannon), Angela Cheesman (Brent), and Jimmy Barrett; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Loetta Kimbler (Jimmy), Russell Cheesman, Bill Cheesman, Jackie, Kenny, and Debbie; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, October 1, 2021, at 11:00a.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Pastor Janice Smith will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10:00a.m. until service time.
