John Eddie Nevel

John Eddie Nevel 54 of Terre Haute, went to be with our Lord on December 16 2017 in Union Hospital surrounded by family.
John was born  February 11 1963 in Trenton, Missouri to
Jimmy L Nevel and Eula M (Ellis)(Nevel)Hawks 
John is survived by his parents of Terre Haute 1 son Joshua 2 daughters Olivia and Andrea all all of Huntsville, Arkansas 4 sisters  Kathleen (Martin) Williams of Terre Haute, Rhonda (Maurice) Harden of Farmersburg Jimmie (Bradley) Conder of Terre Haute, Vickie (Clarence) Goodman of New Albany, Kansas 1 stepbrother Carroll Hawks of Terre Haute several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Eddie K Ellis and Kathleen M Ellis his paternal grandparents John R Nevel and Ethel P Nevel, stepfather Waven W Hawks.
John done a lot of things throughout his life, he attended Bible College in Florida, he was baptized as a baptist, he was in Jr ROTC in high school, John also drove a race car, a semi and a cab. 
John was a resident of Terre Haute Nursing and rehab center where he was nicknamed as Johnny 5 by one of his favorite Geri Lynn.
John loved his children deeply. John enjoyed working on computers, music, fishing, wrestling, racing and doing cryptogram puzzles among other things. John will be missed deeply by all he left behind. 
Graveside service will be held Friday January 26 2018 at 10am in Woodlawn Cemetery Terre Haute, Indiana.
