Jon Jay Kennedy

Jon Jay Kennedy, better known as Big Jon, 60, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on February 23rd, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1964, to Donald Kennedy and Barbara (Marone) Kennedy. Jon had a sense of humor that created laughter amongst all around him. He enjoyed being a handy man, working on cars, and swimming in the creek. Cooking was something he found comfort in for his family. He was full of wisdom that now is instilled in those he loved. Family meant the most to Jon, and creating memories with his loved ones was something he was always eager to do. He built a relationship with the Lord, and now the Lord will take care of him in Heaven. He is survived by his children Savannah Greenleaf, Leah Kennedy, Barbara Jones, and Kaitlin Kennedy; his grandchildren,  Tristan Greenleaf, Lorelei Greenleaf, Tommy Ross, Arianna Ross, Candice Ross, Michael Kennedy Jr., Hydalia Brewer, Jeremiah Jones, Sam Franklin, and Braelyn Franklin; brother Richard Pegg; and his furry companion Red Dog. Jon was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings David Pegg and Donald Kennedy Jr.. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetary. Services will be private.
