Joseph T Ford

Joseph T. Ford Jr., 91, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday August 19, 2019 in Cobblestone Health and Rehabilitation. He was born in Parsons Kansas on May 16, 1928 to Joseph T. Ford Sr. and Mary Jeanette Spight Ford. Joseph was the owner of Accurate Glass Inc. He was a member of Second Mission Baptist Church in Terre Haute. He enjoyed riding motorcycles especially his Harley Davidson and was a member of the Parsons Rams Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed playing golf, working in his yard and most importantly loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Ruth DeLespine Ford whom he married October 15, 1949, they enjoyed 70 years of marriage. He is survived by five children; Kathaleene Pierce and her husband Darryl of Indianapolis, IN, Joseph T. Ford III of Terre Haute, Terese Ford Bishop and her husband Elijah of Terre Haute, Randy Ford of Atlanta Georgia and his fiancé Nessa, and Diane Graham of Salina, Kansas. He is survived by 11 grandchildren; Melanie Sibley, Monique Miller, Joseph T. Ford IV, Randy Ford Jr. Morgan Ford, Antonio Bishop Sr. Bryson Bishop, Megan Ford, Mariah Ford, Harold Edwards and Kenneth Edwards. He is survived by ten great grandchildren; Ashton Ford S., Brooklynn Sibley, Ashaunte’ Miller, Ashaun Miller, Majestic Miller, Makia Fox, Jahnia Ford, Anthoy Ford, Makai Ford and Antonio Bishop Jr.  and one great great grandson, Ashton Ford Jr.  Services are Thursday September  5, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. Noon at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Rev. Cletus Malone, Rev. James Barleston, Rev. Mike Russell and Rev. Johnny White will be officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery.
