Karen Stinson-Milienu Obituary

Karen L. Stinson Milienu, 61, of Terre Haute, passed away on July 27, 2022 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Karen was born in Columbia MO., on September 18, 1960 to Richard Stinson and Kay Kingery Stinson. She was a member of St. George Orthodox Church and retired from First Financial Bank as Senior Chief Vice President after 24 years of service. She loved her dogs Fabio and Lola and had a great passion for all animals, especially strays and homeless. She loved to garden and enjoyed watching Family Feud and keeping up on current events. She enjoyed decorating and taking care of her home especially vacuuming. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Christ Milienu whom she married July 27, 1997. She is survived by two brothers; Mathew Stinson (Diana) of Avilla, IN and David Stinson (Cheryl) of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Natalie, Dalton, Christina, Candace and Caitlyn. Services are scheduled for Thursday August 4, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1900 South 4th Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47802. Visitation will be from 5 until service time at the church, Rev. Fr. Archdeacon Elias Corey and V. Rev. Fr. Anthony Yazge will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to OLLIE’s Canine Campus/St. Francis K9 Rescue, but if you are so inclined, Karen enjoyed flowers and the family would be happy to receive them, envelopes will be available the church if you choose to donate. Online condolences may be made at www.greinerfuneralhome.com
