Katrina Kay Wardle

The world lost a beautiful woman and precious soul in the early morning hours of September 8, 2024. Katrina Kay Wardle was a mom, a daughter, a friend, a wife, and a “Mimi.” She was born June 18, 1972 to parents Charles Evans and Vickie Lynn Starr, in Peoria, Illinois. ---- While living, she enjoyed motorcycle cruises, vacationing in Cancun, sunbathing, and exploring new restaurants. When she met her husband, Patrick, her world changed for the better as she loved him with her whole heart. Sadly, it was turned upside down when Patrick was taken from us all, far too soon, in August 2022. Katrina suffered immensibly. While we will spend our days missing her dearly, her suffering has come to an end and we can rest easy knowing she is at peace.  She is survived by her mother, Vickie Starr (Kevin) from Terre Haute; father Charles Evans (Rhonda); son Brent Henricks (Rylan) from Terre Haute, daughter Brittany Bishop (Brandon) from Dennison; Illinois; stepbrother, Craig Starr from Terre Haute; and half-brother, Josh Evans (Leigh); five grandchildren, and expecting one little blessing. Funeral arrangements are being assisted by Greiner Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 13, at Barbour Avenue Church, 1401 Barbour Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47804. Visitation will be 1-2 with service to follow.
