Keith Alford Obituary

Keith John Alford, 76, passed away on October 25, 2023, after a short battle with lung cancer. Keith was born to the late George A. Alford and Violet L’Rae Alford (Hanlon) on February 28, 1947, in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Keith joined the US Air Force shortly after graduation. After seven years and two tours in Vietnam, he left the military with honors.

After leaving the military, he was an over the road truck driver until he retired. He was an avid fisherman and part of the River’s Edge Fishing Club. He won many trophies. He enjoyed gardening and playing poker with his American Legion Post 501 friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers David and George (Buck) Jr.

He is survived by a daughter Lori Ann Alloway (Billy); sons Kelly (Heather) and Kyle (Kelli); a sister Linda Kaye Alford. He leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been chosen. There will be no service or celebration of life at this time.
