Kenneth William Hauptli

Kenneth William Hauptli, 81, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away September 16, 2022.
He was born in Connecticut to Winfred Hauptli and Mildred Mae (Gray) Hauptli, on July 8, 1941. He was raised in Louisville, Kentucky.
Kenneth proudly served in the United States Air Force. He retired in 1996 after many years of service.
He was active in the Riley Community. He held membership in the Riley American Legion, VFW #972, and Riley Conservation Club. He was a proud member of Pimento Blue Lodge #292, where he just received his 50-year pin. Kenneth also held membership with Wabash Valley String Posse, Amateur Radio W9VKD, NRA, and Wabash Valley Power Squadrons.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children Kevin Hauptli (Laura) and Sara Eisman (CJ); grandchildren Kaleb Hauptli and Taylor Quinn; great-grandchildren Hunter and Colton; and sister Gretchen Ahlquist.
In honoring Kenneth's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
