It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Linda Kaye Caldero, who went peacefully in her sleep on July 24, 2024. Born on February 10, 1956, Linda was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She brought joy and laughter to everyone she met and always put a smile on someone's face. Linda was cherished by many and will be dearly missed.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma and Ivan Streeter. She is survived by her fiancée, Bruce Barker, and her children: Angie (Scott) Marvel, Nichole Melville (Jason), William Caldero (Brittany), and Tasha (Baby girl) Simmers (Johnathan). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Emily Lindsey (Phillip), Jason Melville II, Alyssia Hannah (Zack), and Christopher Wilson, and her great-grandchildren: Payton, Leah, P.J., Kyler, and Brayzin.
Linda also leaves behind her sister, Carol Streeter, and her brothers, Jim (Linda) Streeter and George Streeter. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, including her nephew, Steve Loehmann.
Linda was joined by her friend, Darla Leek, who sadly lost her battle with cancer just a few short days after Linda passed. Linda will also be missed by her good friends Teri Altman and Lisa Garcia.
A Celebration of Life will be held later by the family to honor and remember Linda's remarkable life and the love she shared with all who knew her.
