Lynn Porter Obituary

Lynn (Shumate) Porter, age 62, passed away on January 7, 2022 at Union Hospital. Lynn was born on
February 3, 1959 in Toledo, OH to William and Betty (Hugg) Voress.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Nolan Porter, her brothers, Kenneth
Shumate and William Voress JR, and her sister Donna Brown of Lima, OH.
Survivors include her son, James Wesley Porter of Terre Haute, brother, Bob (Louise) Voress of Lima,
OH; sister Sue Piper and husband David Vanatti of Brazil, IN; nephews Tyler (Jodi) Mayfield, and David L.
(Megan) Piper , and grandson Seth Porter.
Griener Funeral Home will be handing cremation, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
