Margaret V. Cox

Margaret V. Cox, 94 passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Gibson Family
Center for Hospice Care. She was born January 5, 1930, to Hazel and LLoyd McCarty.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Wayne Cox of 58 years, her son in-law
Randy Bemis, and daughter in-law Patti Cox.
She is survived by her four children Robert Cox, Linda Cox Bemis, Cathy Cox
Loudermilk (Byron) Wilson, and Mark (Luann) Cox.
Margaret was a dedicated wife and mother and loved all her family. She retired as a
Pharmacy Tech from Hooks Drugs/CVS after 28 years of dedicated service. She
enjoyed working in the yard and sitting outside visiting with family and friends. She
always looked forward to Sunday afternoon with her family. She was an avid St. Louis
Cardinals and Indiana Pacers fan.
Grandchildren: Angela Cox (Chris) Benton, Alan Lee (Shannon) Loudermilk, Michelle
Loudermilk (Kyle) Davidson, Kenny (Christina) Cox, Patrick Bemis, Jordon Bemis,
Samantha Cox (Derek) Lathrop, Megan Cox (Lucas) Beltran, Callie Wilson (Jarred),
Desi Wilson (Luberson) Joseph, and Bailie Wilson (Jacob) McKinney.
Great Grandchildren: Taylor (Ethan) Boatman, Caleb (Makenna) Benton, Elijah Atterson
(Maire), Zach Benton, Davis Atterson (Piper), Austin Hires, Dakota Davidson, Dakota
(Madison) Hires, Makenna Davidson, Drew Loudermilk, Skylyn Lathrop, Kairi Fuller,
Namine Fuller, and Levi Beltran.
Great Great Grandson: Bentley Hires, Darren Hires, Anakin Hires, Isaiah Hires and
Owen Atterson.
A special thank you to Harrison Crossing, Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care,
Union Hospital and Greiner Funeral Home for being so kind, caring, and thoughtful.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 31, 2024, at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00a.m. until service time.
